The Playground Weekender 2012 line-up has accidentally been announced via the official website despite orgainsers holding back the announcement for tomorrow. The acts announced include The Orb, Neon Indian and Ariel Pinks Haunted Graffiti, while local acts appearing include Lanie Lane, Boy & Bear and Seekae.
Punters were holding out all day for the line-up announcement, while organisers palmed off questions as to when it would be up. We were told it was due to an act holding out for confirmation.
Late this afternoon a message was posted via Twitter and Facebook to let everyone know what was happening.
@PGWEFest: Very frustratingly we have line up ready here to deliver but due to a very minor hitch we’ve been held up all day…
But it seems someone jumped the gun too early and put the line-up on the site earlier than planned.
This year’s event will be held slightly later than usual, pushed to the beginning of March for the slightly cooler weather.
