It’s astounding how immediately impactful Parker‘s voice and lyrics are, but she’s never been stronger than she is with her upcoming new single ‘Can’t Keep Waiting’.
It’s percussively intense and orchestral, but Parker’s silky smooth voice remains in the spotlight at all times, reminiscent of Lana Del Rey or Woodes.
“‘Can’t Keep Waiting’ is about gathering the courage to be honest with myself. It’s about letting go of all that is safe and familiar in life in order to evolve and grow,” Parker.
“I believe it’s in the moments when we feel completely lost that we find the opportunity to discover something new about ourselves. Nothing is permanent, everything can change. Each moment we have the ability to create ourselves anew.”
Parker is debuting the new single as part of her You, Me and that Other Thing artist residency at Sawtooth ARI, which she’s doing alongside drawer and sculptor Jo Lane on Friday, 4th October.
