PREMIERE: Spit Syndicate Explore New Territory On New Track ‘Inhibitions’

The build up for Sydney hip hop duo Spit Syndicate‘s fourth studio album seems to have gone on forever, and now we’ve finally been blessed with another new single from the boys – a track called Inhibitions.

The title couldn’t be more apt, with Nick Lupi and Jimmy Nice exploring new territory on the tune that combines smooth rhymes with production that references trap style bass and garage percussion samples.

They haven’t lost any of their trademark swagger though in this bold follow-up to their last single Know Better, and Spit Syndicate say Inhibitions was created for the specific purpose of pumping up a crowd and setting up a pre-gaming mood for any pre-party.

“We’ve always wanted to make the type of song that people wanna put on when they’re getting ready to go out, something that instantly places you in the mood,” said Lupi and Nice. “Inhibitions is your pre-party, party and kick on.”

Spit Syndicate’s follow up to 2013’s Sunday Gentlemen is due out in 2017, and is as-yet unnamed. Listen to Inhibitions below and grab a copy here.
