PVT Return After Three Years With New Song, Album & Tour

After a three year hiatus, Australian electro-rock legends PVT have announced their return in a big way.

The Aussie group will release their fifth album New Spirit in February 2017, and it’s being preceded by first single Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend.

It’s not just your regular first single, either. It’s a nine-minute epic which builds slowly but surely into a glorious finale.

“We thought releasing a nine-minute song would be kind of confrontational in some ways,” the group say of the new song.

“I think this track is the spiritual centre-piece of the record and it’s a song that’s kind of directly about the environment but touches on this idea of identity. We’ve always felt like as Australians the environment has a really strong connection to the Australian spirit, the Australian psyche, the Australian identity – whatever you want to call it.”

It’s certainly going to be one that’s going to captivate in the live arena and their going on tour so you can have the chance to hear it live. They will perform in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne early next year following the release of the record.
