Queens Of The Stone Age To Tour Debut Album

After a long break from touring, Queens Of The Stone Age are set to take to the road once again, this time with the emphasis on the band’s early days. According to Pitchfork, on each night of a tour that begins in March, Josh Homme and co. will play the entirety of their self-titled debut album, released in 1998.

To coincide with the tour, Domino are reissuing the album on March 1st, complete with three new songs The Bronze, These Aren’t The Droids You’re Looking For and Spiders and Vinegaroons.

That tour kicks off in New Orleans on March 18th, but before then Australian fans will get a first look a QOTSA’s return to the road, with dates at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on March 2nd and at The Palace in Melbourne on the 3rd. Fans can expect “nightly surprises” from the upcoming shows. Both Aussie shows are, alas, sold out.

As well as the reissue of their first album, Domino are also putting out a limited edition 7″ single for How To Handle A Rope (A Lesson In The Lariat).
