Queens of the Stone Age are set to release their 6th studio album in early 2012. The band are currently locked away in the recording studio and plan on having the album finished in the next couple of weeks with an early 2012 release date planned.
Josh Homme posted on the band’s Facebook page:
Locked away in the desert. & shit yeah. it. sounds. fuckin. killer.
Earlier this year Josh told BBC1:
We’re at a weird moment where we really don’t feel like we have anything to prove. We just want to play to the people that are into us and we want to play right at them.
