Radio Birdman National Tour 2014 Announced

Radio Birdman have announced a limited number of national tour dates for this October and November. Fans will get to see founding members Rob Younger, Deniz Tek, and Pip Hoyle with Jim Dickson and other friends play through some of the finest rock ever to come out of Australia.

In addition to the new tour dates, the band will be reissuing their beloved back catalogue to meet a ceaseless demand. The rerelease will initially be available as a limited edition CD box set, featuring Living Eyes and the Trafalgar and Sire versions of Radios Appear, all remastered from original tapes.

Each of these albums will be accompanied by a standalone bonus disc featuring a trove of previously unreleased material – perfect for die-hard fans. To cap it all off, there will also be a previously unreleased live concert recording of the band’s gig at Paddington Town Hall in 1977.

Recorded just before the band’s departure for the UK, this performance has been mixed from newly uncovered master tapes. The band plan on issuing the performance as a double LP, along with their three studio albums, which they will release on vinyl in the months leading up to Christmas.

Radio Birdman’s 2014 national tour is a chance for fans and newcomers to see one of Australia’s rawest and most primal live bands do what they do best. Experience the legendary guitar chops of Deniz Tek and the inimitable surf-punk drawl of Rob Younger by checking the tour dates below.
