Rhythm And Vines 2015 Lineup Announced

New Zealanders and travellers alike, your New Years plans just got sorted. The annual Rhythm And Vines festival is back in action for 2015, and packing a killer first lineup announcement.

Folk darlings Angus and Julia Stone headline a bill that contains a healthy injection of Aussie talent from the likes of Peking Duk, Pendulum, Slumberjack and Sticky Fingers.

But there’s also plenty of local and international action, with Scribe, Concord Dawn, Cut Snake, Dan Aux, Dave Dobbyn, David Dallas, Jupiter Project, P-Money and RL Grime also ringing in the New Year across the ditch.

The annual three-day event, which runs from December 29th – 31st at the Waiohika Estate in Gisborne, is broadening its appeal this year, with more afternoon and early evening entertainment on the cards, not to mention a more eclectic bill, comprising a wide range of artists from across the genre spectrum.

“Alongside the hip hop and drum and bass that have driven the crowds crazy these past few years, we will be adding everything from trap to tropical house for 2015” says festival founder, Hamish Pinkham. “With a new sound, comes further additions which are completely new to the festival, including a comedy component, new staging layout, craft beer gardens and much more.”

“We have a couple of tricks up our sleeves that will come through in our second release towards the end of September,” he continues, “but this first lineup announcement gives everyone an idea into the new look and feel for the festival.”

More acts are expected to be announced on the bill shortly.

Tickets to the 2015 Rhythm and Vines festival are currently on sale, after early bird admissions sold out back in May. Check out full lineup and ticketing details below.

UPDATE 09/10/15: A second crop of artists have joined the festival lineup. See the new additions listed below.
