The Avalanches‘ Since I Left You pulled samples from all across the globe when it was released back in 2000, compiling them to deliver something totally revolutionary.
Now, some internet genius has pulled apart the record, picking out all the samples and compiling them into one big video. The endlessly interesting project showcases every single sample from the record and points out exactly where it was used.
It goes for over 30 minutes and features music from Madonna, Raekwon, De La Soul and heaps more.
The Avalanches released their long-awaited follow-up record Wildflower last year, once again pulling out a myriad of samples taken from decades of music.
We know that this video probably took a very long time to put together but we’d like to kindly suggest a follow-up picking apart the samples of Wildflower.
