A Sony building that was filled with inventory for a bunch of Sony music labels has burnt down during the London riots. Labels that will be effected by the fire include Domino, 4AD, Warp, and Beggars Banquet and a bunch of others. Bands distributed by these labels include Young Guns, Darwin Deez, The XX, She & Him, Temper Trap, Lucky Soul, We Are Scientists and Drive-By Truckers.
A Sony spokesperson told Reuters: We cannot determine the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage yet because it’s not possible to enter the building.
