This afternoon, Soundwave organisers decided to improved upon the two previously announced lineups, which were good enough in themselves to begin with, adding a third round of artists to cap off an enourmous list of acts for this February.
The whole list isn’t too much of a surprise. For those of you who have been paying attention, Sharks, Northlane and The Vandals were fairly obvious additions, some even being prematurely confirmed.
Other acts we’ve been impressed by include, Killswitch Engage, the legendary Orange Goblin, The Sword, Chelsea Grin, The Chariot, O’Brother and Milestones.
The addition of two extra metal bands to the bill has ensured that there really is something to give all sorts of people eargasms. Though early bird and general public sales were snapped up in a heartbeat, tickets recouped from scalpers, etc. were put back on the market today.
Now the next challenge will be organising your day. With a lineup with this many world class international acts, you’re probably going to find yourself in the ‘good problems’ position of having to choose between two of your favourite bands, but let’s cross that bridge when we get to it.
