Stereosonic 2014 Lineup

Australian dance music fans have been eagerly counting those sleeps and now the time they’ve been waiting for has arrived, the Stereosonic 2014 lineup is here. Organisers have outdone themselves this time, with a lineup featuring Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Diplo, Disclosure, and Skrillex.

It’s not often Australia gets to see an array of EDM talent like this. Among the big names on this year’s bill are Calvin Harris, arguably the embodiment of the modern superstar DJ, Tiesto, who defined that very title, and one of the most in-demand names in the biz, bass-drop master Skrillex.

If that’s not enough to convince you that this year’s lineup is huge, just look at the supporting cast. Organisers have managed to nab everyone from dance music icons like Carl Cox and Ferry Corsten, to homegrown heroes like Peking Duk and Nina Las Vegas, and everything in between.

Back in February, organisers confirmed that they would be making Aussie EDM dreams come true once again with the return of their two-day format, which was initially launched to accommodate what promoter Richie McNeill described as “the greatest EDM lineup Australia has ever seen.”

Taking a look at the lineup, as readers can do below, it’s little wonder they had to bring the two-day Stereo back in 2014. The announcement set anticipation so high that early bird tickets to Stereo 2014 went quick and first round tickets are sure to sell out just as fast upon release next week.
