Steve Smyth is busy gearing up for the release of his debut album, Exits, on Friday, 5th September through Ivy League Records. To celebrate the highly awaited release, Smyth has unveiled the latest single to be taken from the album, Written or Spoken, as well as a stunning and unique Visual EP.
The Visual EP, which you can watch in full below, features solo recordings of Written Or Spoken — which has its own, beautifully-shot, black and white video clip readers can view below — as well as two other cuts from Exits, the brooding Manuscripts and the haunting, powerful South Land.
Hailing from the south coast of New South Wales, Smyth’s smoky, melancholy vocals and nuanced, emotive guitar-playing evoke memories of a bygone era in singer-songwriting and have seen the young talent take his gifts around the world, from North America, to Europe, and all through Asia.
Exits is now available for pre-order through iTunes, JB Hi-Fi, and Sanity. Australian fans that pre-order their copy of Steve Smyth’s incredible new album through Sanity or JB will receive an advanced download of album track South Land, as well as a signed copy of the new record.
