Music Festival Rock am Ring is attempting to emulate the success of this year’s Coachella by offering fans a chance to stream the German festival.
The festival boats a huge lineup, including Metallica, whose guitarist Kirk Hammett recently spoke to Rolling Stone about the band’s financial ‘hardships’ (meaning they can no longer afford to take two years off in-between records).
Kasabian will also play ‘Rock am Ring’. Frontman Tom Meighan made headlines after referring to boy band One Direction as ‘five little dicks’ when speaking with Gigwise.
Fellow festival performers Tenacious D have been on a tear lately. They have released numerous videos, including their latest clip for Low Hangin Fruit from their newly released record Rize of the Fenix; which has been suffering from censorship of the cover art.
UK pop band Keane will also be performing a set sure to include songs from their new #1 record Strangeland. Music Feeds recently caught up with frontman Tom Chaplin, and you can read that Keane interview here.
Of course, being that ‘the land of chocolate’ is a quite a long boat ride from here, the time difference is a killer. Fortunately, the kind folks over at Faster Louder have listed an Australian timetable for all you night hawks.
