Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker Wants To Collab With Daft Punk

Written by Jackson Langford on August 23, 2018

In dream collaboration news, Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker has said that he really wants to work with Daft Punk and oh my god someone please make this happen.

Parker recently sat down for an in-depth interview with Billboard, where he discussed his superstar collaborations, like Lady Gaga, Travis Scott and Kanye West on his latest album ye.

Parker said that Kanye was his dream collaboration for a long time, but now that’s been done, he has pointed to legendary electronic duo Daft Punk as next on his bucket list.

“Kanye held the number one spot there — he was the answer to that question for a long time. But that’s been ticked off,” he said.

“The other one is I guess Daft Punk. I hold them in absolutely legendary regard. They’re so god-like to me, but I don’t even know what I’d do or how I’d do it with them.”

In other Tame Impala collaboration news, Arctic Monkeys have recently said that they’re open to collaborating with Parker. Parker’s response: “Anything is possible.”

We’ll leave you to ponder on what a Kevin Parker x Daft Punk or Kevin Parker x Arctic Monkeys collab will sound like.
