After airing a stellar Unplugged performance from BTS last month, MTV Unplugged has announced their return to Australia, this time with a performance from Tash Sultana.
Sultana released their second studio record, Terra Firma, back in February. In a chat with Music Feeds, the singer/songwriter revealed that they’d spent over 200 hours crafting the record.
They will perform to an audience at Melbourne’s Chapel Off Chapel on Tuesday, 4th May.
Their addition to the Unplugged history books will be the first time the platform has returned to Australia for 18 months.
“To be able to play an MTV Unplugged set is pretty special,” they said.
“It’s something that everyone knows about, so I’m really looking forward to being a part of it. Also, to do it in my hometown is a massive bonus.”
