The Antlers Add Two New Shows To 2015 Australian Tour

Written by Marc Zanotti on November 11, 2014

The Antlers have added two more headlining shows when the Brooklyn-based trio visits Australia in 2015. The freshly announced gigs will take place at The Brightside in Brisbane and the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall at the Melbourne Recital Centre.

Melbourne electronic act Lanks, the solo project by Farrow’s frontman Will Cuming, will support the band in Melbourne. The new dates come in the wake of previously announced shows in Sydney and Perth.

The upcoming tour will be The Antlers’ first since they came to Australia as part of Laneway Festival 2011. The band will tour behind their fifth studio album Familiars, released earlier this year.

Limited pre-sale tickets for The Antlers’ Melbourne performance are on sale now via Melbourne Recital Centre. General public tickets go on sale from 9:00am Friday, 14 November. Tickets for the Sydney and Brisbane dates are on sale now.
