Mat McHugh and The Beautiful Girls will hit the road in the early days of 2024 in support of their forthcoming live album, RUMBLE INNA JUNGLE. The album’s lead single, ‘Periscopes’, is out now. The tour will begin at the Good Gumnuts Festival in Heybridge, Tasmania, on Friday, 5th January. The Beautiful Girls will visit Eumundi, Kingscliff, Henley Beach, Fremantle, the Central Coast, Manly and Launceston over the following four weeks.
The forthcoming LP is The Beautiful Girls’ first live album. It includes selections from across the band’s discography, including ‘Music’ from 2003’s Learn Yourself, ‘Rockers! (Downtown Upstyling)’ from 2010’s Spooks and ‘Until My Kingdom Comes’ from 2014’s Dancehall Days. The lead single, ‘Periscopes’, originally appeared on the band’s debut EP, Morning Sun, in 2002.
