Since their formation in 1998, the acclaimed Wellington roots band have five studio albums, a live album, and two remix albums under their belts and have carved out a reputation for filling dance floors across the globe for over a decade.
Described by lead guitarist and vocalist Barnaby Weir as “contemporary groove music with influences from soul, funk and reggae rhythms – and even rock”, The Black Seeds will no doubt draw on their rich catalogue of tunes for the upcoming tour, including tracks from their latest release 2012’s Dust And Dirt.
