Following a massive response to the Dandy Warhols‘ recent tour announcement, which according to the band saw their Melbourne Corner Hotel show on Tuesday, 26th August sell out “in under 90 minutes,” the neo-psych veterans have announced the addition of a second Melbourne show.
“Dang, Melbourne, you continue to amaze… nicely done,” the band wrote on their Facebook channel. The new show will take place at the Corner Hotel on Monday, 25th August. Readers can check below for all dates and details for the group’s highly anticipated return to Australian shores.
Frequent visitors to Australia, The Dandys were last in the country back in 2012, playing a Harvest Festival bill that also featured the likes of Grizzly Bear, Santigold, and Beck. The band even managed to find time to play a string of well-received sideshows with alt-rockers Silversun Pickups.
