The Gaslight Anthem – More Details On Fourth Album

American indie-punk band, The Gaslight Anthem, have announced that they are currently working on their 4th album and follow-up to their last release American Slang. According to frontman Brian Fallon, the songs were sounding “pretty aggressive”, however they were also “really happy” with the band’s demo recordings last year.

Fallon also told Billboard that “We’re making demos and our goal is 25 of them, and we’ve got ten. The songs that are fast, they’re a lot faster. It’s definitely pretty personal and pretty aggressive right now.”

He also added that his side project, The Horrible Crows, will be releasing their debut album soon, citing Gorillaz and Moby as influences. Fallon elaborated stating that “I needed to write these songs so that I could carry on as a person on my own. We wanted to find out what else is there – what else are we capable of.”

They also recently released a cover of Bob Dylan’s song Changing of the Guards for an Amnesty International Human Rights album.
