Aussie rapper The Kid LAROI has signed a massive deal. It’s been announced he’s joining Scooter Braun’s management company, meaning LAROI will join the likes of Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and more.
Variety reports he’s signed onto Scooter Braun Projects (SBP).
Braun confirmed the news. He quote tweeted Variety and added, “Welcome to the family superstar.”
The deal sees The Kid LAROI leave Grade A Productions, who he signed on with in 2019. LAROI’s previous collaborator, Juice WRLD was also signed to the company.
It’s been well documented that The Kid LAROI is a huge fan of one of Braun’s biggest-ever signings: Justin Bieber.
“I remember when I was seven years old and my older cousin took me to go watch the Never Say Never documentary with her when it came out in the movie theatre,” he told Variety.
“I didn’t really know a lot about Justin Bieber, I was like seven years old, but I remember after watching that movie I was like, ‘Yo, this is the coolest kid in the fucking world.'”
Despite managing a slew of iconic artists, Scooter Braun is still somewhat surrounded by controversy.
Swift is currently in the process of re-recording her old masters. Most recently she shared a totally re-recorded Fearless.
PNAU recently revealed they may have The Kid LAROI featuring alongside Elton John on their new album.
