PNAU Have A Collab In The Works With Sir Elton John And The Kid LAROI

In conversation with triple j‘s Drive hosts yesterday, PNAU‘s Nick Littlemore dropped that the Aussie dance group have got a huge collab on the way with The Kid LAROI and Sir Elton John.

“We’ve been making a record on the quiet, during the COVID times,” he revealed. “Every few weeks we get another call saying ‘who’s going to be singing on it?’ the latest one is The Kid LAROI.”

The collab, which Littlemore said is called ‘Cold Heart’, has been in the works for the past year.

“They’d be singing together,” he said. “It’s a record that we put together, four different songs of [Elton John’s] over a PNAU dance groove.”

“I don’t know when it’s coming out, this is a world exclusive right now, I shouldn’t be talking about it.”

You may remember that their two worlds have already previously collided, when PNAU were granted access to Sir Elton John’s entire 70’s back catalogue back in 2012 for a remix album they released titled Good Morning To The Night.

“This time he wanted something that was more directed at radio,” Littlemore added.

PNAU are fresh off the back of their latest single featuring Budjerah, called ‘Stranger Love’, which Littlemore described as “an interstellar banger to be enjoyed by the trippy dreamer in all of us.”

Earlier in May, The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus teamed up to perform Cyrus’ remix of LAROI’s smash single ‘WITHOUT YOU’ on Saturday Night Live.
