The Killers Reveal Tracklisting For New Album ‘Battle Born’

As the months turn to weeks until the release of The Killers‘ 2012 release Battle Born, the band has begun unveiling information on the album, drip feeding fans who have been patiently waiting since 2008.

Battle Born will be the follow-up album to older bro Day & Age and will mark album number 4 all up. Determined to create an album that is unlike anything else, the band enlisted the help of some of the industry’s greatest studio meddlers, including U2‘s Steve Lillywhite, Rage Against the Machine collaborator Brendan O’Brien and Madonna producer Stuart Price, according to NME.

Battle Born has a scheduled due date of September 17 in the UK and September 18 in the US, so we can expect it around that time Down Under also. Already the band has handed down the first single Runaways, which you can check out below, and now we have the full tracklisting. Battle Born will be a solid 12-track album, including a remix of opening ditty Flesh and Bone.

The Killers will be making their triumphant return to the live setting this weekend in the UK followed by a headlining slot at V Festival and, hopefully soon after that, Australia. But that’s just my wishful thinking.
