The National Unleash Their Inner Child For ‘Graceless’ Music Video

The National have tapped their inner child for the video to their latest single, Graceless. The video adds to the heap of evidence supporting that no matter what you do, if you do it in black and white, it looks classy.

Suiting up in some fine apparel, the band members seem to be ticking off a list of missed childhood activities including — but not limited to — horsing around in pools, swinging on swings, tearing up the ol’ slip ‘n’ slide and wreaking havoc inside a jumping castle. The difference between this and your 5th birthday party? Booze. Heaps and heaps of booze.

Graceless was one of 13 stellar tracks to make their way onto the group’s 2013 album Trouble Will Find Me. The album was released back in May to mountains of critical acclaim. Aussie fans had their hit, with the band having made the trip Down Under for Splendour In The Grass earlier this year, but have recently been treated to the news that the band will be returning in 2014 for a full-fledged tour.
