Sydney’s annual NYE In The Park festival is back with its 2018 lineup, after debuting as part of the city’s festival calendar last year.
Following on from its inaugural event, the festival is returning to Camperdown’s Victoria Park this New Year’s Eve with a roster topped by the likes of triple j favourites The Presets, The Jungle Giants, Hayden James, Hot Dub Time Machine, Thundamentals and Confidence Man.
Spread across two stages, the festival will also feature the likes of producer Luke Million, One Day DJs and the talented Thandi Phoenix. Peep the full lineup down below.
Organisers are promising more bars, clean toilets and chill out zones than last year, as well as gourmet street food, affordable drinks and (of course) the obligatory midnight fireworks display.
“New Year’s in Sydney has always been overcrowded, overpriced and ultimately, under whelming, and we want to change that,” organisers say.
“Last year’s event offered a hugely fun, highly affordable, drama-free night out – with ample space to dance, more bars and toilets than you can poke a stick at, a wide selection of great, gourmet street food, and an amazing line-up of music. This year, we’ve managed to top that.”
