The Wombats, Circa Waves Splendour 2015 Sideshows

The Wombats and Circa Waves are the latest Splendour In The Grass 2015 act to announce a litter of headlining sideshows to supplement their upcoming performance at the festival proper.

The UK indie rockers will play another four gigs across Australia in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide surrounding their flagship Splendour set on Saturday, 25th July, which will see them warm up the Byron Bay main stage for headliners Florence + The Machine.

The British marsupials will also be riding high on the wings of their latest LP, Glitterbug, when they return to Splendour for the second time, following their festival debut in 2008.

At all shows except Perth, they will be supported by fellow Liverpool four-piece Circa Waves, who will be touting their new album Young Chasers. A first-rate UK indie pop double bill in some of Australia’s best venues? Sign us up.

UPDATE 29/04/15: Due to overwhelming demand, The Wombats have upgraded the venues of their Sydney and Melbourne Splendour In The Grass sideshows. Tickets to the Sydney show remain valid, with new tickets to be issued for ticket holders of the Melbourne show. View updated tour details, below.
