There’s A DMX And Bono Collab On The Way

With a new record on the way, DMX has shared that the record will feature a collaborative track with U2 frontman Bono, titled ‘Skyscrapers’.

He jumped on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs podcast recently to talk about the record, and in the interview, he revealed the upcoming collab. “It’s crazy,” he said. “It’s got like a Miami feel to it. I feel like I want to shoot the video here.”

According to the Yonkers MC, his longtime friend and collaborator Swizz Beatz was the one to intro the pair. Swizz has previously talked about his relationship with Bono with Vulture, telling the publication in 2010 that “Bono, he’s a music lover. I’m a music lover. We knew each other for a while.”

On the podcast, DMX said he’s about two tracks away from completing the record that will also feature collaborations with Pop Smoke, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, and Usher, among others.

The record doesn’t have a name yet, but it will serve as the follow up to 2012’s Undisputed.
