Australia’s This That Festival is the latest event to be tripped up by Covid-related border closures and lockdown restrictions.
Organisers have today announced both the NSW and QLD instalments of the fest will no longer be going ahead in 2021, and instead shifted til next year.
The Newcastle event will now take place on Saturday, 26th February 2022, while the Sandstone Point version will be going down on Saturday, 5th March 2022.
“The good news is that there is so much dancing and partying to look forward to, so this ultimate summer sesh is absolutely going to be worth the wait,” organisers said in a statement.
The Newcastle lineup will remain basically identical with the likes of Client Liaison, Dune Rats, The Chats, Sycco and more, with the addition of Enschway subbing in for Sippy.
While the final lineup for Sandstone Point will be announced next Wednesday, so stay tuned for that!
FYI all tickets purchased for the 2020 and 2021 event dates will be automatically valid for 2022.
As for those who can’t join the party in February and March, a one-week refund window via Oztix is open now for Newcastle, with the Sandstone Point refund window to open next week.
