Tired Lion Announce New Regional Tour For A Good Cause

Aussie indie-rockers Tired Lion have just announced an upcoming tour which will kick off next month, and will see them hit up regional areas of Australia. Because why should the bright city lights hog all the fun?

And what makes this new regional tour even cooler is that the movement responsible for bringing Tired Lion to Dubbo, Armidale, Tumut, Moruya and Wollongong is the annual MusicNSW touring initiative Indent, which provides the opportunity for regional youth to collaborate on the production, promotion and set-up of a live gig, all the while delivering excellent live tunes to places which would most likely miss out otherwise

The Indent Tour gets locals involved, offering practical experience on the ins and outs of setting up a live performance. The tour also supplies a production manager at each event, who mentors the youth in each town who are keen to get involved in the music industry. On top of all that, each event puts on two local acts as support to the headline band.

Tired Lion also have some other big things ahead of them over the next couple of months, supporting Violent Soho on their national tour, and appearing at this year’s Falls and Southbound festivals.
