Tour Shy Adele Is Plotting Las Vegas Residency For 2022

Reports have emerged indicating Adele—who has a knack for selling enormous quantities of concert tickets—is interested in setting up shop in Las Vegas next year.

Adele has announced her new single, ‘Easy On Me’, will be released next Friday, 15th October. It’s the first taste of the British singer’s upcoming fourth album, 30, which is expected in the next few months.

Now, as Billboard reports, Adele’s team has its eyes on a Las Vegas residency. Possible venues include the Park Theater (at the Park MGM Las Vegas) and the Colosseum (at Caesars Palace). Bookings for both venues are handled by Live Nation and they each have vacancies in their calendars for 2022.

Intriguingly, these venues fit roughly 7000 people, meaning they’re much smaller than the venues Adele comfortably sold-out all over the world on her 25 tour four years ago.

But touring isn’t really Adele’s bag. In fact, towards the end of the 25 tour, Adele told the crowd at Auckland’s Mount Smart Stadium that “I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you.”

So, if you wanna see Adele—and see her in a much smaller venue than usual—I’d say a trip to sin city might be on the cards (no pun intended).
