We may have had months of prior warning, but nothing could have prepared us for the actual thing. The trailer for Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart’s cooking show Potluck Dinner Party has arrived ahead of its November 7 debut and, well, it’s literally and metaphorically cooked.
The premise of the show is that Snoop and Martha will cook up a storm with a variety of celebrity guests, which from the promo will include the likes of Robin Thicke, Wiz Khalifa, 50 Cent and DJ Khaled, so they’ve stuck very closely to VH1’s definition of ‘celebrity’ while they flicked through Snoop’s Rolodex.
Snoop and Stewart first appeared on camera together back in 2008, where they made sweet, sweet mash potato together. They crossed paths again during Justin Bieber’s Comedy Central Roast, and it would appear they’ve been scheming ever since.
While the premise might be cooking and hangs with friends, as per the trailer, weed jokes will very much be the backbone of Potluck, which should surprise nobody.
