Travis Barker And Post Malone Are Writing New Music Together

Post Malone and Travis Barker joined forces last month when the blink-182 member played drums for Posty’s virtual livestream concert, where he performed an entire set of Nirvana covers. The rapper performed the likes of ‘Heart-Shaped Box’, ‘About A Girl’ and ‘Come As You Are’, and absolutely nailed it.

Now, it appears the duo are teaming up for another collaborative effort. In a new interview with SPIN, Barker noted that he was traveling from his home in Los Angeles to Salt Lake City for a week-long writing session with Malone.

“I’m going up to Salt Lake to just write for a week with him. Just jam and have fun,” Barker explains, acknowledging he travelled up the day before the Nirvana livestream to rehearse. “The whole vibe over there has been very relaxed and just whatever happens happens.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Barker revealed blink-182 have a new song on the way, presumably inspired by current world events. “We actually have a song called ‘Quarantine’ that will be out in the next two weeks,” confirmed Barker.
