Everyone’s favourite Saturday night radio show, triple j’s House Party, will be taking things to the next level this coming August with a run of national tour dates which will see the party spread to a location near you.
Selecting some of the best talent for the occasion, Triple J’s House Party Club Tour is sure to be totally off chops, so it will probably be a good idea to hide the fine china and crystalware.
Headlining the event will be resident beat meddler Nina Las Vegas. A longstanding feature on House Party, Nina has hosted the program since 2009 in between her duties as a straight-up good soul putting on workshops for kids, keeping in regular communication via Twitter and piecing together her next release, triple j’s House Party Volume 2.
Armed with a brand new single I Didn’t Believe, Flight Facilities will also be unleashing upon the DF for the run of shows. They’ll be joined by rising stars Cassian and Tyler Touché with Wave Racer rounding off the bill.
Of course, triple j will be pumping the giveaways in the lead up to the tour, so keep your finger on the pulse for that. If you can’t make the shows you can always get your hands on a copy of triple j’s House Party CD volume 2 which will be out Friday, 23rd August. Otherwise, tickets are now on sale.
