Twelve Foot Ninja announce new album and tour dates

Twelve Foot Ninja have revealed that their new album, Vengeance, is on the way this October.

The album news follows on from the release of the band’s ‘Start The Fire’ single this month and what’s more, comes with an added reveal of plans to bolster the album’s release with a massive multi-media project.

Watch the video for ‘Start The Fire’ below.

A what, you say? Let’s take a closer look.

So, along with the release of Vengeance on October 10th, Twelve Foot Ninja will also release a high fantasy novel titled The Wyvern And The Wolf. For fans, they can get an advance peek of the novel, with the first 12 chapters being sent through upon pre-order.

The Wyvern And The Wolf isn’t the first time Twelve Foot Ninja have leaned into the world of novels. Their graphic novel, also called Vengeance, is available now online. Written by the band’s Stevic Mackay and illustrated by George Evangelista, the story follows the band’s namesake – Twelve Foot Ninja – battle evil aliens in other dimensions.

“All this time, so many have thought ‘Twelve Foot Ninja’ was tongue-in-cheek, when in actuality, the story’s genesis occurred a year before the formation of the band,” Stevic’s said.

“I really hope our fans enjoy the vastness of what we’ve created, and we’re able to continue to surprise people with new methods of storytelling.”

And if that wasn’t enough, Twelve Foot Ninja are setting out on the road in October for three special album launch dates! The East Coast tour will bring the band to venues in Brisbane and Melbourne, while also hitting South Australia too.

The band will be returning to Sydney and Perth in 2022 but for now, check out the dates below – tickets are on sale now.
