Great news, mosh fiends!
UNIFY Forever will be going ahead in January, as originally planned.
Following Victorian Premier Dan Andrews’ announcement that live music venues in the state would be allowed to operate back at full capacity once Victorians reached the 90% double dose vaccination target, UNIFY promoters took to social media to confirm that the January event is now a red hot goer.
“JANUARY IS HAPPENING” they posted. “UNIFY FOREVER IS ON \m/. More announcements coming soon…”
The festival is tipped to be adding even more artists to its already supersized local lineup, which currently features the likes of The Amity Affliction, Violent Soho, Ocean Grove, WAAX, Dream On Dreamer, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers and loads more (including ya girl’s band RedHook).
Meanwhile, UNIFY isn’t the only Victorian festie to hit the go button on its Plan A dates. Dylan Alcott’s Ability Fest and the Parkway Drive-headlined newcommer Knight & Day Festival have also confirmed their summer events will be going ahead as planned.
