Amy Shark is bringing some rising alternative rockers over from the US to jump aboard her 2024 Aussie The Sadness Tour. Austin act Culture Wars have been named as main support at all of Sharkie’s shows across Australia this October and November.
Perth alone will also cop a pair of local openers in the form of indie grunge trio Fool Nelson and Gold Coast singer/songwriter and gritty country-coastal multi-instrumentalist, Chris Hutchison, a.k.a. HUTCH.
Culture Wars – ‘Slowly’
The tour comes in celebration of the Sharknado’s third studio album, Sunday Sadness, which dropped last month.
The sadness will kick off in Melbourne on Friday, 18th October before hitting Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide, and wrap up with a final show in Perth on Saturday, 2nd November.
“I can’t wait to get back on the road to see you all and bring this new record to life on stage,” Shark said in a statement. “I’m really proud of this album and am so excited to perform it live, as well as all your favourite tracks. Counting down the days!”
