Skegss Announce 2025 Australian Tour

Skegss have shared details of a national tour, which is set to kick off in June 2025 and run through to mid-July. The run was pre-empted by the duo’s announcement on the Vivid Sydney line-up, performing at Eveleigh venue Carriageworks on Saturday, June 7th – a show that will now serve as the tour’s official kick-off date. The full list of tour dates, as well as ticketing info, can be found below.

Joining the band as support for the entire run are Sydney band The Buoys and Perth trio Fool Nelson. The former are continuing to tour in support of their debut album, 2024’s Lustre, while the latter released their second EP Falling Apart last year. “[We are] stoked to be jumping on this tour, and to be playing in towns we’ve never been to before,” said The Buoys in a statement.

Skegss – ‘So Excited’

Skegss released their third album, Pacific Highway Music, in October 2024. It marked the band’s first without founding bassist Toby Cregan, who exited the fold in 2023 and later formed the band GREG. It featured the singles ‘Spaceman’, ‘Out Of My Head’ and ‘High Beaming’ – with the latter two charting at number 181 and number 143, respectively, in the 2024 triple j Hottest 200.

Aside from their headlining So Far From Spaceman tour in 2024, the band have also toured nationally as part of this year’s Laneway Festival – sharing the stage with the likes of Charli XCX, Clairo, beabadoobee, Barry Can’t Swim, Djo and Remi Wolf, among others.
