Watch: Vampire Weekend Unveil New Song Live On Jimmy Kimmel

It’s been all quiet on the Vampire Weekend front recently, other than the untitled track released a few months back, and vague references to a new album, but we can expect things to pick up a little now, following the debut of a new track on late night TV.

The dudes chose Jimmy Kimmel as the platform to launch the track Unbelievers. The tune fits in nicely with the sort of upbeat, indie charm you expect from Vampire Weekend. The performance was filmed on site in Brooklyn and the crowd simply ate it up.

The TV appearance comes just in time to plug their upcoming performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival. And the band also accorded with the current Halloween buzz, dolling themselves up in face paint.

The new album is sure to be on the way soon, according to frontman Ezra Koening, who recently spoke to Team Vampire Weekend (Via Consequence of Sound) stating “We’ve been working like maniacs for a long time. The time is not so far away, we promise.”
