Vera Blue Teams Up With Greenpeace On New Single & Video ‘Like I Remember You’

Australian alt-pop artist, Vera Blue has released a new single ‘Like I Remember You’.

The track sees her team up with Julia Stone (backing vocals) as well as Greenpeace for their ‘People Vs Oil’ campaign — a new approach to bring focus to protecting the Southern Ocean.

On the collaboration Blue says, “‘Like I Remember You’ happened organically in a writing session with Julia Stone, Andy & Thom Mak. Once the song was finished and we started working on this collaboration with Greenpeace it seemed like the perfect fit.”

Stone said, “Working with Vera was such a beautiful experience. She’s a real talent and we can’t wait for everyone to hear the song we’ve created together.”

The song has that same dreamy kind of sound that flows through most of Vera Blue’s discography coupled with a catchy hook, where she sings “do you remember me like I remember you?”.

Which is fairly fitting with the theme of the film clip.

The video features clips of Greenpeace activists with powerful signage protesting oil, clips of the beautiful reef, and of course Vera Blue dancing along to the track.
