Vir Das Recently Becomes The First Indian To Win An International Emmy Award
Vir Das recently earned accolades for his fourth Netflix comedy special, “Landing,” which received widespread acclaim. Praised by fans and critics alike, “Landing” secured Vir Das his first International Emmy win for Best Comedy in 2023, following a previous nomination for his special “Vir Das: For India.”
The comedian has now performed over 100 shows across the globe, Vir Das is no stranger to the international stage. His previous tours have taken him to sell-out venues in Australia.
Vir Das has also appeared in series such as the ABC comedy-drama ‘Whiskey Cavalier’ and the Netflix thriller ‘Hasmokh’.
