Sydney’s Bank Hotel has hosted monthly music club night VISIONS since 2014, and now VISIONS has revealed its main stage lineup for the 2016 King Street Crawl and announced the launch of a monthly VISIONS Melbourne event.
Hosting the main stage at Waywards for the second year running, VISIONS has dropped its 2016 King Street Crawl roster, which brings together a range of alternative and local acts, all curated by members of Deep Sea Arcade.
This year’s King Street Crawl will see Peter Bibby, Shining Bird, Polish Club, The Ruminaters, Fascinator, Wild Honey, Jody, Betty & Oswald, Pretty City and Deep Sea Arcade DJs take to the stage at Waywards, with many more acts set to feature across other venues throughout the day. More acts are still to be announced, including “a very special headliner” as well.
The King Street Crawl was created with the goal of celebrating the diversity of King Street in Sydney’s Newtown, by linking a string of local businesses in Sydney’s inner-west through a day of music and culture.
Additionally, VISIONS has announced that it will finally launch its monthly music night at Melbourne’s Yah Yah’s, featuring Pond’s Nicholas Allbrook, Fascinator, Crepes, Way Dynamic, Plotz and more. The first ever VISIONS Melbourne will kick off on Friday, 2nd September.
Entry for VISIONS Sydney’s King Street Crawl is free. Catch all the acts so-far confirmed for the event, below, alongside details of the first-ever VISIONS Melbourne.
