Touring festival Wallapalooza is to return to Melbourne’s Corner Hotel with headline sets from Electric Mary and Dallas Frasca.
The independent rock festival, which has showcased huge local acts like Helm and Glass Ocean in past years, will take over the iconic Melbourne pub on Saturday 16 April, with other locations around the country yet to be announced.
The two stages at the Corner will also host Electric Mary, Dallas Frasca, Dirt River Radio, Smoking Martha and The Mercy Kills, among others on that Saturday.
Wallapalooza was founded by longtime live music advocate Andy Clark who is determined that our generation is not “the generation that enabled the death of live music” and is one of Australia’s longest running independent festivals.
So Wallapalooza will be taking that ethos around the country, with a series of still to be announced live festival events to run across Australia throughout the year under the Wallapalooza banner.
