Watch A 14-Year-Old King Krule Apply To Play At Glastonbury

A video that King Krule made at 14 years of age to enter the 2008 Glastonbury unsigned artists competition has surfaced online and is ready to make you feel like you did nothing with your teens. Krule, real name Archy Marshall, realised his Glasto dream when he played the festival in 2013.

“Glastonbury’s a big occasion. It’s like famous and that,” states a very young but instantly recognisable Krule in the video, which also features footage of the singer-songwriter performing some of his self-penned tunes. “To even be a part of it, even get here, that’s pretty good.”

Krule isn’t the only one who made the most of his teen years (his debut album contained songs he’d been working on since he was 12). Earlier this month, Music Feeds reported on the teenaged members of Unlocking The Truth, who recently signed a $1.7-million record deal with Sony.
