Fans of Norwegian DJ Cashmere Cat got more than they bargained for in Melbourne last night, when ‘Boys’ singer Charli XCX and Danish singer-songwriter MØ turned up for a surprise performance in honour of his 29th birthday.
Footage has emerged (below) of Charli performing ‘Boys’ as the crowd at The Howler sing along, and of MØ performing her collab with Cashmere Cat, dubbed ‘I Like The Way’. There’s also video taken from the girls’ social media accounts of them casually hanging out at the show.
Charli XCX and MØ are currently in Australia to support Sia on her current Australian tour (which kicks off tonight), while Cashmere Cat will continue his 2017 Australian tour with a performance in Adelaide on Friday night.
