Voting for triple j’s Hottest 100 is now open, and as per usual triple j have put together an absolutely killer promotional clip in celebration.
The clip, narrated by Dr. Karl, is set at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and features 50 of the hottest artists of 2016 partying hard in their natural habitat. Among others, the video stars Flume, Montaigne, Client Liaison, Tkay Maidza, Ball Park Music, Peking Duk, KLP, SAFIA, Nicole Millar, Motez, What So Not, The Rubens and Gang Of Youths.
The ‘documentary’ looks into the science of partying in the “dankest place on earth.” As well as pulling an shoey, some of Dr Karl’s absolutely top notch narration includes “palms are sweaty, knees weak, their arms are heavy. Due to a build up of lactic acid.”
Returning this year as well is the opportunity to win triple j’s Golden Ticket which will get you into every triple j supported gig and festival for 2017 (think Laneway, Falls and Splendour, as well as a bunch of incredible gigs). All you need to do to go in the draw is vote.
triple j‘s Hottest 100 voting closes at 9am, Monday 23rd January, and you can vote now right here.
