Foals have released a new music video for their next single Late Night and it’s pretty confrontational, to put it mildly.
As opposed to the happy-go-lucky clip for My Number or the expressive dance piece that is Inhaler, the video for Late Night shows scenes of birth, sex, violence and suicide in a rather frank manner.
As reported by Rolling Stone, the video for Late Night was directed by Nabil Elderkin, who had previously directed clips for Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Bon Iver.
Late Night is the third single from Foals’ third album, the recently released Holy Fire. In February the English rock band walked away with the NME Award for Best Track behind the album’s first single, Inhaler. The band also recently announced they will be returning to Australia this year, their second visit to the country for 2013.
Late Night will be officially released on 22nd April.
