Celebrities singing karaoke in a car may seem like a fairly pedestrian concept on paper, but it’s taking the world by bloody storm.
James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke has became so popular that it burst the seams of its home as a Late Late Show segment and now needs to be housed on its very own platform.
Carpool Karaoke’s first shiny new standalone primetime special just aired in the US, with none other than J. Lo in the passenger seat to belt out some hits on the morning commute.
The cheeky spin on the classic talk show format features Jenny from the Block and her pal J. Co belting out some of the R&B diva’s classic old school hits like Love Don’t Cost A Thing and having a casual gasbag about her past romances and those old butt insurance rumours.
Altogether, it’s a big dose of fun.
