Watch Josh Homme Reunite With Eagles Of Death Metal Onstage

Eagles Of Death Metal co-founder Josh Homme has made a rare live appearance with the band at a show in Paris this week, and footage of the Queens Of The Stone Age frontman taking up drumming duties has made its way online.

Video of Eagles Of Death Metal’s show at Le Trianon (below) shows Homme joining the band to perform the track I Want You So Hard (Boy’s Bad News), which features on their 2006 album Death By Sexy.

Eagles Of Death Metal was formed in 1998 by Homme and his buddy Jesse Hughes, but Homme rarely appears live with the band because, well, Queens Of The Stone Age have spent some serious time kicking ass over the last few years.

In March 2014, Homme said his next priority after QOTSA’s 2014 tour of Australia and New Zealand was to finish the next Eagles Of Death Metal album, which will be the band’s first since 2008’s Heart On.

Eagles Of Death Metal (sans Josh Homme) last toured Australia during Soundwave 2014. Watch Homme do his thang with Eagles Of Death Metal at the Paris leg of their European tour, below.
