Watch Justin Timberlake Surprise A Bunch Of Aussie Students With A Music Masterclass

Pop God, actor and flat-out legend Justin Timberlake has just pulled off a good guy surprise for a very lucky group of Aussie school kids.

JT casually swung by Newtown High School of the Performing Arts late last month, to host a very special surprise masterclass for the students. As reported by Fairfax Media, Timbo was in town for the premiere of his new animated movie Trolls. Being the legendary character that he is though, he decided to stop by Newtown High to check out some of its most talented students.

JT shared the video of his experience earlier today via Facebook, with a status that read, “Had a blast hosting this masterclass at Newtown High School in Sydney. Y’all are crazy talented! Keep up the great work, and don’t forget to stay curious.”

The video shows the singing superstar sitting down on the floor to watch some (outrageously talented) students perform, saying, “This is a treat for me to come here and hear you guys.”

JT was visibly moved, telling jazz singer Ella-Jane Sharpe her “scatting was on point” and describing upbeat a cappella group The Newtones’ vibe as “jammin'”.

And while listening to a student by the name of Fergus Lupton, JT was particularly taken aback, exclaiming, “What? I’d put that on the radio now… It’s beautiful.”

Maybe this superstar-student mentoring thing is becoming a bit of trend, what with the Maggie Rogers Alaska video where Pharrell fights back tears on hearing her tune at a masterclass for the very first time.

Check out the touching clip of JT with the Aussie students, below.
